after a miscarriage your period sometime will be a little late, best to have a period first so your body can get back to normal. your doctor will prob advise 3 periods before you try to conceive

I am so sorry for your loss. I have had two miscarriages and my return to fertility was different for each one.

After the first miscarriage my normal fertility pattern returned atraight away. After the second one, although my periods returned immediately, I did not start ovulating for another month. The best thing to do is chart your cycles by taking your temp every morning when you wake up. When your temperature rises you have ovulated.

I think it's best to wait until your next period...then you'll know when you're going to ovulate next (that's presuming you know your cycles, and your normal ovulating time). I don't think there's an exact time after a m/c...however, some say wait 3 months before trying again. Good luck.

sorry to hear about your miscarriage - they are never easy. I experienced a missed miscarriage between my first and second children. I also had a d & c and was told that my period will be late coming back as my body had to get back to normal. I think I was also told that it would be about 3 months for my cycles to get back to normal and that I should wait approximately 3 - 6 months before trying to conceive again. Good luck and take care!

I had d&c last year and I had a period about 8 weeks after my miscarriage. I think it does vary from person to person and how your hormones settle down.
The doctors told me that most people are pregnant again by the due date of their lost baby.
Very sorry for your loss, know how hard it can be.

i am sorry for your loss hun.

it is possible to ovulate after having a misscarriage but i would wait until you get your period before trying again as it is possible you could misscarry again due to your body and hormones not been settled back to normal.

hope this helps and good luck hun. i hope you get pregnant again soon and this one sets up home in your womb for 9 months.
