We should change gear towards pakistan border rather than afghanistan...Terroists will be killed rather than kids

Probably not the best of ideas. The Pakastani president maintains a perilious hold on his country as it is right now as there seems to be a majority of the population over there who side with the terrorists' side. Bombing the border would be hugely unpopular and would probably make the country ripe for a coup by opposition forces friendly with the Taliban.
As it is, the Pakistani government has an agreement with NATO/US forces to keep those forces out of Pakistan to maintain Pakistani sovereignty over their own country.
Another thing is, the border area is very mountainous and bombing it would only have marginal effect. It's almost like urban fighting in that you have to send in military teams to go and root out those terroists from their caves.
