No. I think that is considered average. 5'8'' is the average for men in America (in Asia, latin america it's less).
Don't listen to girls who tell you you're short. Maybe these girls are just "taller than average".
The average woman in America would be 5'4'' so you should find plenty of people to date.

Yes but that's only because that's how tall I am and I wouldn't like to be with a man shorter or the same height as myself..............MY hubby is 5'10" and sometimes I wish he were just one inch taller, only when I wear heels though.

Only comparatively. He's just fine for a girl that's about that same height. For me, he'd have to be about a half a foot taller, though.

depends on the girl. I'm 5'4" and I wear 4" heels so I like my man taller. My sister is 5'2" and her husband is 5'6" and she doesn't mind.
