Last I knew it was held by a 1960's Volvo P1800 with over 1 million miles. I know of a 1979 Cadillac with over 600,000 on it!

Every manufacturer has had it's superb runners no of someone who put over 380,000 miles on '82 Chevette, personally had a '68 chevy pickup with a 327 that had over 300,000 on it when I sold it and one year later I knew it was still running strong. There was an article somewhere I read of someone putting 1,000,000 on their Subaru (sounds unlikely but it was published), I would dare say that The Guinness Book of World Records might have something on the subject.

I heard there is a 64 fury that is still daily driven that used to be a taxi, and the highest accumulated light truck is probably a cummins powered dodge.

Our daily driver is a '66 Chevy Nova with 450,000 on the clock.
Although I'm guessing that it had 162,000 on it when we bought it in 1985 and not just 62,000. (five digit odometer). You'd think even a retired gal would put more than just 62,000 on a car in 20 years.

i agree with "done wrenching" about the trucks. my '92 ram had 625,000 (highway) miles on it when i sold it and i've even heard of rams that had over a million miles on them.
