They're down 34-10 against the Jaguars...they've given up 316 rushing yards and 3 td's on the ground plus a 93 yard TD return on the opening kick off of teh second half....

so are they in a "slump" or do they really suck?

THEY SUCK. Their defense is an absolute mess. Manning is throwing wild and just the threat of Edge is missing. He wasn't amazing, but was always a threat to keep D's honest.

Go Bears!

You people are so quick to jump on teams if there in slumps. Do none of you realize that their starting defense has been injured the entire year?! Obviously not! Corey Simon, who is are best defender at stopping the run has been out all year. Montae Reagor, who is great at tackling, is out for the season. Bob Sanders, our best all around defender, has been in and out of a nagging injury all year. Brandon Stokely has been in and out all year. Dallas Clark is injured. Nick Harper is hurt. Mike Doss, another great defender, is likely out for the season. The Colts don't suck, they are just in a slump, and their injury list is finally catching up to them, so lay off. I find it endearing that they have been able to have such a great record with so many people injured, especially all our good run defenders. I guarantee barely any of you care to realize that the defense were injured, no you rather just say they suck because that's all you can say just to make you feel better about your team. But do you know what? Go ahead, Indy is always the punching bag for the other teams fans because we do so well, and when Indy is at their best they embarrass people. I am telling you this now, come playoff time this slump will be gone because Dungy will not allow this to continue, plus Indy is the most prepared for the playoffs because everyone plays harder when they face the Colts and the Colts still have a great record and they win them close so that means we can win close pressured games. Just watch.

The Colts do not suck. They are, however, in a baaad slump. That loss against Dallas I figured would be a relief to Peyton Manning having to have a perfect season. However, I'm starting to think that Peyton is a perfectionist, and that each loss is adding up and up and up and up and up on him.

Honestly, I know exactly what it is. It isn't Peyton. Peyton's doing all he can, but one man cannot win a football game. It's that damn defense. They cannot hold the run. It's so horrible. Peyton's got amazing receivers (except with this game, you wouldn't know it. C'mon: seven dropped passes?!?!) and he's arguably the best QB in the league.

I'm hoping that in the off season Dungy either fires the defensive coach, drafts some REALLY good defensive players, or signs on some good defensive players. We need to get some people who can hold a run.

This year it seems that every good team is just blowing up in smoke. Look at it from the beginning of the season until now. Chicago: they've imploded. The Giants: they had the NFC East and then the injuries murdered them. I got faith in the Colts. Will they win a Superbowl this year? With each game that passes, I'm thinking not, especially with that defense. And that really, really sucks. :(

The Colts are the second best team in the AFC as of now behind the Chargers. My wife is screaming at our television as I type this.
She loves the Colts.
Bears man myself.

Simply an "off-game" in a hostile environment for Indy today.
The Jaguars have had their number every time that they have played.
Colts will annihilate their foes next week. Write it down!

But I didn't come to start no trouble........I just came to do the Super Bowl Shuffle!!!

I think it's just a slump. I think because they are the Colts, we expect so much from them, to be undefeated and when they play human-like we are confused. If they don't get out of the slump then they won't have a chance at the Super Bowl

They're the same team year in & year out. Manning's mouth writing checks his defense can't cover.
