When you answer someone's question, do you answer it to the best of your ability, or do you submit sarcastic answers just for your own personal idiocy?

Depends on the question.
If it is a good - serious- interesting or funny question I will answer it to the best of my abilities.
If it's a stupid question (that analysis being MY opinion) I will sometimes give a stupid answer.

I try to answer to the best of my ability. Usually the only time i become sarcastic is if the question is realted to racisim or if someone is making nasty jokes about someone else. At that point the answers they get are the answers they deserve.

When I answer questions, provided the question does not seem idiotic, frivolous or objectionable, I try to answer it to the best of my ability.
I try to indicate by the language I use if the answer is my opinion, universal fact, or guess.
Some questions are obviously just for fun so I answer them in the same spirit - it would be boring to be serious all the time.

I answer every question to the best of my ability and in the same manner as the question that was asked.

It depends on my opinion of the person asking the question. Can they spell at least one word right in their question? Is it a stupid question where the answer is completly obvious? Normally I try to give decent advice/answers though.

It depends on the question. I am truthful and people take it sarcastically. I f they didn't want to know then they shouldn't have asked.

Based on experience with a touch of charm, which sometimes comes off as sarcasm, but not everyone shares the same sense of humor as I do.

I answer them to the best of my ability, to try to get best answers.
Sarcastic people are annoying, and just do it for the points.
