go to Yahoo's Typer Shark and have fun while you are practicing! Then increase your speed as you play the game! There are many ways to increase your skills... as well as hand-eye coordination! The "key" that my typing teacher taught me in high school was finger placement. IF your fingers are on the right keys, then you don't even have to look at them... in fact, you can type faster if you're not looking, start with the left pinky finger on the a key, then the ring finger on the s key and so on... you miss the g & h keys, then your right hand begins with the j key and ends with your right pinky on the ; key... it's all a matter of knowing where to go with each key corresponding with your normal key/ finger placement! Just keep practicing and don't give up! Good luck and have fun with it too! ;0)

The more you are on the computer, the better you will get at typing. It just takes time, and I know everyone has said this already, but practice! :)

Practice, practice, practice!!! Type as often and accurately as you can. The speed comes with time.
