If you can access the floor from below, locate the area in question with one person walking on the floor and another below. Once the area is located, drill a hole in the joist at a 45 degree angle through the joist only to the sub-floor with a 3/16 bit. use a #6 or #8 speed screw no longer than 1/2" longer than the length of the pilot hole to screw into the sub-floor and pull it down. Screw length should be about 1 1/4" to 1 1/2" depending on the length of the pilot hole.
If you can't get below the floor, there is no pretty way to fix it without pulling up the floor and screw down the sub-floor. You can try using a finish nail, (drill a small pilot hole through the floor plank only to prevent splitting), and drive into the floor and use a "nail set" to recess it. Filling and finishing will be required.
Hope this is helpful.

whether it's a small area or the entire floor there is really only one way to stop the floor from squeaking. you don't want to finish the floor and then find it still squeaks. locate the floor joists and drill a pilot hole 1/8" then take a piece of wire that will easily fit into the hole to use as a probe. if the probe bottoms out then you hit the beam. then drive in a 2 1/2 to 3 inch twist nail and counter sink. use wood filler to hide the nail heads. when the squeaks have been minimized to you're satisfaction, then proceed with the refinishing. i recently did 5 rooms in my house (approx 62 sq yds) so far so good.

this may sound goofy but if you can get baby powder in the spot where it is noisy, it will help
