There is a lot to consider here. First of all does Roger want to be committed for another season? If so does he want to be on the road unlike last season? Houston really bent over backward for this guy. Will the Yankees do the same? Maybe a better question would be, do the Yankees want to sign him? There is always the chance they don't. Unlikely but possible!!
Here are couple of things to consider as well. Houston does not give their pitching staff very much run support. As successful as both pitchers were just think of what their win-loss records would have been if they had spent the last three years in New York?
Remember, Andy left NY because at the time it did not appear that Stienbrenner wanted him anymore. That's wasn't Andy's fault. Roger left because in his mind at that time he really believed he was going to retire. When the Houston situation came up it fit his needs both professionally and personally. You can't blame him for that.
Lastly Roger at one point had a win loss ratio of 2-1 for his career. That disappeared once he went to Houston, (again, lack of run support). I think he could get that back in New York. After all, they do, score runs!! Let's just say getting Roger wouldn't hurt any team.

the things that you have to take into consideration are does roger clemens really want to come back to new york or boston for that matter when he has a good thing going on in houston i mean he lives in houston and he doesn't have to travel with the team when they are on the road and does he really want to be a yankee again i would hope not hell i think andy pettitie made a mistake signing with the yankees the only reason why he signed with the yankees was because they were offering more money then houston which is why he left the yankees to sign with houston in the first place because of the money but it's his choice and he has to live with his decision

I think if Clemens comes back for another year, he is like the Farve of baseball with the retirement talks, he will not make a decision until the season has begun, and it will depend on how the Yankees look and how much money they are willing to throw at him. I think it is safe to say the choices are the Astros and Yankees, but the Yankees probably have the lead as of now, unless Houston starts making some moves.

He might as well. They are best buddies. Where one goes, the other goes as well. Andy Pettitte made the right decision coming back to NY, and all the fans at Yankee stadium will forget that he left and cheer him on. If Roger comes back to the Big Apple, we will also forgive him too.

I'm going to say no... I don't think Clemens is as worried about getting a World Series ring since he already has two as much as he is staying close to home. The reason (aside from Pettite) he went to Houston in the first place was the fact that it was close to home and they didn't make him travel when he wasn't pitching. Those kind of incentives will bring him back to Houston if he even pitches next year.

I doubt it , But if he does it probably won't be until later in the season. I think his sons baseball career will keep him more occupied than his own next season. Besides there is always so much pressure on a man playing in New York and I don't think Clemens wants to deal with that anymore.

I think he will. But can the Yankees afford him? He will command in the 15 to 18 million a year and the Yanks already have a lot tied up in payroll.

I think Roger will come back to the Yankees. It's just a matter of time. The Yankees will have no problem giving him all the perks he enjoyed with the Astros.

Man, I hope not. If he goes anywhere out of Texas it should be the Red Sox just to wrap up his career where he started. The ownership has changed and his grudges are gone. The fans hated him leaving and would love to have him back.

The Yankees aren't going to allow Clemens to fly home constantly like he can in Houston. I don't see it happening. His home life is more important at this stage in his career. He's already established himself as a hall of famer, he's playing just to play anymore.
