There are two problems, spyware and viruses. I guess you have an anti virus. All you need is anti spyware. Then you scan the folder. If the scan comes up clean you're ok.
You need all three anti spyware programs;
http://www.ewido.net - AVG(Ewido) anti trojan.
http://www.lavasoft.com - Ad-Aware SE Personal anti adware
http://www.safer-networking.org - Spybot Search and Destroy anti spyware. Use the Teatimer settings to protect Internet Explorer, and the Immuniser to stop malware getting on your pc.
Also use Microsoft Windows Defender.

Ive had alot of problems with this and ive found that the free download of superantispyware is the best ( i get onto some pretty dodgy sites {by accident ofcourse?} and Ive been free of all types of viruses and that ****!) Try also Spybot and Virusblaster too just incase! Contact me via email if you struggle and ill email you the programmes under attachments! Nice one!

Kaspersky internet safe practices is a good software that really protects your pc. in case to procure any element that has a virus or trojan once you open the record this is going to likely be blocked or quarintined. i exploit this software in my opinion. also attempt to accurate click on a record previously to procure it in case you could browse the host then you truly must be able to receive it properly. As for sharing your music only bypass for your media interior limewire and decide my shared files and decide each and each and every of the files you dont opt for to percentage accurate click and say now to not percentage the files and also you ought to be good to bypass

trust me dont use limewire as its not safe and the living proof I have is that it blew 2 seperate hard drives on our pc's, rather expensive way to download freebies...you are open file sharing with loads of people which mean that they have access to your pc and you are prone to viruses from others....BEWARE!!!
Most anti-virus protection will not allow you to connect to limewire so ya have to turn it off to connect and it aint worth it..
