Do you mean web log (blog)? That's not really related to biology at all, but I can't think of a blog that I've ran across in biology.

It is derived from weblog, but is not a shortening, in the traditional sense of the word. The name "web log" was originally coined by one early web logger, and then split as a joke by another into "we blog". This then caught on with other "bloggers" as both a verb and a noun.
