im surprised at you all! you should be able to get honest feedback from people after posting a question NOT be insulted and judged and damned!! a woman (whos husband apparently confessed he was gay) came here- hurt im sure- and quoted the bible about homosexuallity being wrong blah blah, and got no support(as wrong as she may have been). i was surprised that noone was nice or considerate of her feelings instead she was bullied and "told off" im saddened by this. maybe ONE of you could have said "im sorry for your pain but..." no you all jumped to the defense of her LYING DECEPTIVE so called husband! im sure he is thrilled to be rid of his wife and kids while she is left to wonder how she could have not known.people who are gay KNOW they are gay! there is no need to lie and string along your "spouse". i hope you all really consider how hurtful your words may be!

When I first saw the question to which I think you are referring here there was in it a lot of Bible quoting but no mention of her marital situation at all. I initially answered the question somewhat critically but subsequently when I had had opportunity to review the questioner's earlier inquiries and discovered for myself (no help from her with that) what the situation actually was, I went back and added a more supportive addendum with what I considered some helpful advice. Not that I was looking for 10 points but I think it ironic that the questioner chose one of the answers you would likely consider "negative" as Best Answer just to make a point, that point being that she "was not the Devil." I consider all of this little more than a comedy of errors. Sad but true.

Ah. I see you don't attack all the hateful, hurtful people here who are attacking the gay community.

Well, perhaps she was wrong, but I highly doubt it was an easy decision for her husband to make, and I really don't think he enjoyed hurting his wife and kids. Society has forced a lot of men and women to marry if only to make their lives easier and keep them away from the fear of utter ostracism, or worse, being killed or maimed.

So, maybe the people were out of line, but this woman was reaping what she was sewing by coming into the wrong area to vent.

that's the problem here, maybe people would be a little more sympathetic if she hadn't come here and started dishing out all the bible claptrap, do you not think that the people round here are getting a little fed up with other people telling them what's right and whats wrong. Another example of people not thinking before they post.

You know her husband may not have realized he was homosexual. It took me 40 years to accept the fact that I was homosexual and I have a wife an kids I would not have done this to them for anything.
No one gets married for a cover I can't imagin any one being so cruel.

In these Yahoo forums... there are all types... adults... children... adults who are children...

This place is pretty mild compared to the Yahoo chat forums... esp. when politics is involved!

Best to leave your ego at home when you visit these sites!
