Whatever you want to wear..... wear it. As long as it is not a halter top no one should care. Your clothes should express how you feel. If you want to wear jeans please feel free. You only live once. Other women talking like they are never going to get old. I am going out this world wearing whatever I want to wear.

More figure than age... don't bulge out (like a lot of teens do), that kind of bad taste is OK in the young who are still "finding themselves", but mature persons should know better (when they have the choice, jeans are the best clothing for work and I think even women who don't have the body look fine in the home stores and nurseries, I don't dress up to sling mulch into the SUV or shop house paint at any age). I think mature people look silly in the sleezy tops so many young women wear too...One of the nice things about maturity is you don't feel the pressure to try so hard, you can relax and choose for comfort or look.
Let's get real about fashion, anyone who has any familiarity with the world we live in and have lived in (as a species) knows we have gone from leaves and skins to polyester and back to cotton...fashion is a matter of opinion, personal tastes and the dictates of your fear (or need) of others oninions (and...it'$ primarily about $elling you $tuff). The "fashion" industry is huge and when they have you convinced you have to look a certain way, they have you by the wallet. Who dictates what is in or out? Ask ten designers and get ten different opinions. Visit ten countries and change wardrobe ten times.
Another nice thing about being mature is seeing it all come and go over the years and knowing how unimportant it is, the thing that matters is you enjoying it, what ever you wear.

Well, it is interesting that you cite the extremes: teen-agers and octogenarians. What about all those in between?

I think jeans look good on women who have nicely shaped bottoms and legs, and horrible on others. It is not age so much as shape. Some young women should look in a three-way mirror and see what they look like from behind. Some women manage to hold onto their shapes for a long time. There are certainly actresses in their 50s who can still wear jeans well. But for most of us, age makes us lumpy, and jeans do not look right on lumpy bodies. I figure if you have to keep buying larger ones, at some point you have to decide whether a skirt would not be more appropriate.

My Grandma claims that since it was HER generation that introduced blue jeans into the schools to begin with, then nobody can ever tell her she has no right to wear them, because she's too old!

Of course, you'd never catch her in a pair of skin tight anything, even though she has the body to carry it off. (36-22-34)

I don't find tight jeans fashionable on anyone. There are better choices for
mature women. The only ones who can possibly get away with tight blue
jeans are girls up to the age of twenty. I would seriously advise against
wearing them constantly because of the increased chance of yeast
infections.

Jeans are definitely not restricted to teens! There are plenty of styles out there to pick from--I think a better question is what style looks appropriate on a matured woman. eBay, surprisingly, has a very comprehensive style guide to help you choose what works best for you. I suggest checking it out! I'm sure there are some jeans out there that would look flattering on you at your age. Hope this helps!

I trust lopeslow, maximum adult males that journey oftentimes journey western in a pair of jeans and boots, the adult males i do see that journey English all positioned on the breeches and tall boots or 1/2 chaps. i wager it relies upon on the section there are some male riders i do see positioned on jeans and preparation chaps. i imagine this is all a decision of what they prefer. If a guy does tutor english they wont have a decision yet to positioned on breeches and tall boots. I do trust you larger women persons will positioned on breeches for generic using more advantageous than adult males do.

Don't listen to what the "Fashion Plates" have to say. Just because their talking scales say "One at a time, please." Or "You have a trunk, and are fond of peanuts."They think everyone should live by their rules. If wearing Jeans makes you feel good, and they're comfortable, do it. One more thing to all the aspiring Ralph Laurens, you're getting younger by the day, right?

Don't try tight ones. Buy some bark blues with a little bit of spice. the perfect top is a GAP hooded sweatshirt.

I can't believe these answers. To all of you younger people, just wait until you are "older" in number. You will then find out that the "number" does not matter, but how you feel inside. Wear whatever feels comfortable for YOU!! No matter what your age in numbers!!
