the problem isnt barry, the problem is the press.they decide who to go after. they write their stories and make fans into zombies turning them into hating dogs.to many people get played for to long. if u gonna go after barry u gotta go after everybody. u gotta go after baseball itself. u can go back and start with mickey mantle and gang when they used to show up to the games drunk and a whole bunch of other press favorites.

Enough already, do you really think we will ever know the answer. Seems to me there has to be at least two questions a day about Bonds and steroids. I am not a fan of Bonds, but just leave it alone, maybe time will tell, maybe not? The entire steroid issue has tainted baseball (sports in general) just leave it at that, cause every good player is gonna get accused sooner or later.

If you read the book Game of Shadows which exposes the steroid problem in baseball and track and field, the writers describe the process of steroid masking, or creating a steroid that can't be detected by current Olympic or baseball testing. (The stuff is called the clear). Bonds used it and claimed that he thought it was a muscle relaxer.

What I heard is that he bribed the drug people to say that he was fine. Finally, the drug people wanted a lot of money, in which Bonds wouldn't give them. So, he was caught doing steroids.
