Brett Hull, scores a goal on Dominik Hasek, but there was a skate in the goal crease which at the time was not allowed, yet i think it was in overtime, that the refs still called it a goal, and the balloons came down and the Stars had Won the Cup. I think it should have been dissallowed and replayed until a winner appeared.

I agree, Brent Hull's goal should not have counted but I have a problem with the way you worded your question. You ask if "the 1999 Stanely Cup Final should have been GIVEN to Buffalo"----no Stanley Cup final should be GIVEN to any team, you have to EARN it!! But back to the goal. It should not have counted but what everyone seems to forget is that Buffalo was already down 3 games. So if that goal had been disallowed Dallas still had a good chance to win on the next goal. It was inevitable. Not allowing that goal would have just caused the suffering to last longer.

It's too late to do anything now, but they should have disallowed the goal and played until the next team scored. That is all.

Well, if that's the case, then maybe the Flyers would have won in 1980. But I got over it. But still.....
