Awww honey, I hope you feel better today :) Grab a cloth or soft towel and put ice cubes or cold water on it. Then relax with this on and off your eyes for 5 minute time periods.... If you have any kind of special water (avene or Vichy) in an atomizer bottle, then spray that on your eyes as well. The swelling and puffiness will go down when you calm down... Right now, your best bet is to stay away from face to face interactions that will make you cry... :) Feel better soon!

Stay away from heat. Heat makes the blood vessles expand and increses the swelling. You are much better off using a cold compress.

Cool wet teabags, chilled cucumbers are both good.

Try not to drink caffeine or eat anything salty for the rest of the day.

If your eyes are red tomorrow. Use visine. Apply foundation around eyes to help mask the puffyness and make your eyes look brighter. Using blue mascara even a dark navy will make your eye look whiter.

Stay away from makeup that draws too much attention to your eyes.

Do not wear light colored, shimmery or glossy eyeshadow.

Hopw you feel better.

Strong ibuprofen or aspirin - they reduce swelling. That should be enough, but you could also use an ice pack (throw some ice in a ziplock bag and then cover with a cool damp cloth, or use a bag of frozen peas or corn), cool tea bags, or cool cucumber slices. And drink lots of water. Your body can absorb like 1/2 cup an hour.

Don't use heat. That will actually make it worse. It is good to place something cool on your eyes as well, but the anti-inflammatory (aspirin or ibuprofen) is KEY.

Aww sweetie I hope you're okay. If you have one of those frozen eye masks use that.
Even if you do nothing it will probably go back to normal tomorrow morning.
I'd say the best thing to do is to put chilled cucumber slices over both your eyes and get a full 8 hours of sleep.
(Cucumbers amazingly enough do do something. They de-swell and relax.)

First of all, stop crying! Second of all, a cool compress will take down any swelling. Don't use any roid cream! If it gets in your eyes, it could cause additional irritation and could cause burning and possible damage. Cucumber slices are said to do the same thing, to take down the swelling. Get plenty of rest and hydrate yourself. And calm down!!! Stress will prolong the effects!!!

Take a washcloth and wet with cold water only. Place the cold washcloth over your eyes and leave while you are sleeping tonight. Or during quick rests/breaks. That will help. Don't cry anymore okay.

Oh, I am sorry. Are you ok? Just rest your eyes and place a cool washcloth over them. Use some Visine before you go to bed and when you wake if needed. Hope you feel better.

I am sorry that you seem to be having a horrible day, just use some cold compresses on them, lay down and take a nap with them on your eyes. Hope everything gets better very soon. *hugs*
