I too have a round face, and I have found several things that help me. For one thing, round faces can pull off longer hair, in fact it looks much better than shorter hair on round faces. Keep your hair legnth at least 2 inches below your chin. Layers are also generally very flattering. Side or off-center parts are also much more slimming to a round face than center ones. As far as wearing your hair up, hair that is pulled tight off the face and slicked back is going to emphasize the roundness of your face. You don't want to wear updos where the hair is slicked flat, and it usually looks best if you leave a few pieces of hair hanging in the front to frame the face. Also, if you want bangs, make sure to get side-swept, angular bangs and not blunt-cut ones as these will only shorten your face even more. Becoming proficient with blush can also help to slim the face. I would recommend going to your local department store's makeup counter and asking how to contour cheeks using blush to create the illusion of cheekbones and definition. Hope that helps!

If you have longer hair, it should slim it a little bit. Longer layers, nothing too face framing though. For clothes, try v-necks. They make the neck longer and make you look slimmer by a lot. That's just what I do!

Pull your hair away from your face, so that your cheekbones are highlighted. It is a common mistake that people think that framing their face with hair will slim their face, not true! use some blush on your cheek bones to bring them out, and your face will find a nice glowing shape....and SMILE!

try applying bronzer all over your face and then put some blusher on your cheeks, when doing so make moves with your brush from ears to upper lip, that will make your cheek bones more visible
