When I run or exert myself, i start getting out of breath faster than the other guys and I have a lot of chest pain... The doctor prescirbed me Ebastel for 10 days and asked me to see him after the course is complete. then if required i ll get an Echo Cardiac Test done.. wht could all this mean?? pls helpppp!!

and he also told me tht my lung capacity is lower than normal..

Your doctor thinks you might have exercise-induced asthma, which is not uncommon.

He could be trying to rule out heart problems. The Echo. is the big clue. Whenever you go to a Dr., make sure you ask him/her what's going on AND don't walk out of there til you get a clear concise answer!! So many people will jump out a window if a Dr. says to do it. I would want to know what's going on with my body. Don't be afraid of making him/her "feel bad" by asking, this is the only body you'll get!

It could be Asthma,or a heart condition.I would listen to your doctor and see what they say.
