Do you shave your groin area? That can cause a lot of odor problems, as without hair, you don't get proper air circulation there, and perspiration can't evaporate quickly. You stay moist, and odor develops. People think they are "clean" when they get rid of hair, but really hairy is a lot cleaner than bald in any area covered by clothing.
Do you eat a healthy diet? Some body odors are caused by what you eat, and you can't wash that kind of smell away.
Powdering can reduce moisture and cover up smell, but in all probability, all you need to do is let your pubic hair grow naturally to eliminate the bad smell.

if you are washing, and don't believe you have any medical conditions, it could be possibly dietary. this sounds weird, but i can detect a change in smell in my urine if i have been having too many sodas, and can always smell onions in my sweat if i have eaten a lot of them recently. but you could have an infection you don't realize. contact a doctor, but also, try eating yogurt three times a day for a week or two(get a brand that says live, active cultures on the side, the more the better...Stonyfield farms has five different live bacteria cultures). you could have a bacterial imbalance, and yogurt will restore the good bacteria you need to keep the bad bacteria in check...if it is an overgrowth of yeast, by any chance, it may get worse for a day or two before it gets better...this is when the extra yeast is dying off in mass...it can make you feel like you have the flu. make sure you are always drinking enough fluids, because your sweat and urine will be more pungent if it is concentrated..and you have more sweat glands in your groin area than you do under your arms.

1. Try putting antiperspirant and powder between buttocks
after bathing.
2. Spray cologne lightly on the genital areas so that you won't
notice the odor.
3. Use personal wipes for final wiping, then spray cologne again.
(You probably won't have to spray cologne anywhere else. Don't overdo it)
4. Get a prescription for Zoloft. It will help with the
worrying/borderline OCD. More than likely your mind races most of the time and it's hard to relax. Two weeks after starting Zoloft that symptom should be gone too.

Baby powder. Put some on after a shower. And cut down the number of showers. You are washing away the oils that are GOOD for your skin, and help protect it from bateria that cause odor. You are doing more harm than good with your over-frequent showers.
Baby powder will soak up the sweat that bacteria breed on, reducing the smell.

If you are as fastidious as you say you are - then it's possible this is simply your natural body chemistry creating this odor.
I've slept with guys who smelled awful and pungent, and sugary sweet like some sickly perfume smell. and they cannot wash it away. It exudes from the apocrine glands.
try the pure liquid chlorophyll in cold water 2 -tablespoons daily.
when you wipe your a.s.s. - use soap and water and then scrub dry.
After shower, put scented talcum powder on your balls and pubes. However, first splash your pubes heavily with WITCH HAZEL. this soothes inflammation and kills odors. Also, splash your underarms with liquid soap and then alcohol.
you gotta work at it - bro - and don't give up. And I warn you to only wear pure cotton clothes, socks, underwear, shirts, and to sleep on pure cotton sheets, and under cotton blankets. these let your body breathe and ventilate your skin. Stop using polyester or rayon or whatever else and live with COTTON for everything !!!

You could accually be washing ur self TOO much, your skin needs some oil to keep it from drying out, but if u keep whiping it away, then the skin will produce tons of it to keep the skin moist, so try taking a shower once a day

First of all, OCD is treatable. I had a roomie with the same problem, & after therapy, he was a different man!
Now, as far as body odor goes...go to your local health food store. Buy a liquid supplement called "Chlorophyll". It is sweet tasting & not offensive at all. You take 1 spoonful per day. It is very healing to the body, as it cleanses & detoxifies. It will remove bad breath, foot odor, body odor, odor from garbage disposals; you name it!

Yes, it could be OCD. All humans have a natural personal odor that includes pheromones and some people actually like a 'normal' one.
Have you had any complaints lately - besides your own?
