I'm not sure what animal Wanda is talking about, but I have guinea pigs and you don't bathe them every other day nor do they stink and I only feed mine twice a day. They really like having company so if you can get 2. Females tend to get along better. I would contact your local shelter to see if they have any.

First of all, guinea pigs are social creatures. So they should be kept in pairs, not by themselves.
The best place to get a guinea pig is from the local shelter or rescue. There is a huge problem with guinea pig overpopulation, and there are guinea pigs everywhere that need homes.
Check out Petfinder.com to help find guinea pigs near you.

Don't you know the difference between a pig and a guinea pig?? You can buy a guinea pig from a petshop or maybe read adds in the local newspaper.

I don't know where you live city wise but you can rescue guinea pigs just like cats and dogs. If you want one and want to make a difference in pet population adopt one :) Plus you will most likely get all of the supplies you need to care for it when the previous owner gives it up.
Here is the link http://www.guineapighome.com/
Do a search and see if someone near you wants to give up their guinea pig.

Why do you want a pig?I can give you 4 reasons to not get a pig:
1.They smell horrible.
2.You have to feed them 3 times a day.
3.You have to give them a bath every other day.
4.It is stupid to have a pig.
