FALSE.
The V1 and V2 were strategic weapons, able to reach towns, but their guidance system were too weak to be precise enough to reach ony a beach, or a concentration of troops. And even V2 were not that powerful enough to destroy huge mass of troops. It would have done a lot of damage for sure, but not enough to prevent the D Day. Remerber that the V1 wasn't fast enough, compare to the Spitfire X, so the efficency of the V1 was very low.

It was almost a failure to create V2 instead of fighters. Just to know, building one V2 needed as much resources than a squadron of Messerchmitt Me 262 fighters, which were more effective to fight against USAAF and RAF (and so prevent the bombing of all German cities and factories) that to trying to destroy the will of fighting of the English population (History showed that bombing a country couldn't break the moral of population, in England in year 1941, or Germany in 1943-44-45).

false, they did not have the capabilities to make any decisive strikes with the V1 & V2. It would have made limited difference. It would have not diminished the moral of the British people, the Battle of Britain had already demonstrated that any attack on Britain would only fortify the resovle of the British people. In terms of military damage created by the V1 or V2, considering the size of the operation (overlord) it would have been a drop in the bucket if the V1 or V2 hit. The missles may have been powerful however they need to be accurate. And that would have not been the case at that point in time due to lack of guidence technology, who knows how the they would of flown over the channel? Sorry for the long answer. False would be my opinion opinion,

Well, had they sufficient weapons, and decided to use them ON THE PORTS rather than wasting them on London, they could have disrupted preparations, though not stop Overlord. Without excellent reconnaissance though, performing what we now call "Battle Damage Assessment" is almost impossible. BDA helps one decide if the strikes are having the desired effect, and assist in changing targets if needed.
Probably the best place to employ them would've been directly on the invasions beaches. That would've bought the Germans time to bring up their armored forces en masse and plan a proper counterattack.
Finally the V2 was/is overrated. It was extremely expensive to build and operate, and only delivered a 2K lb warhead. The V-1 was a much better weapon tactically, with lots of room for further development.
