No, you aren't just wierd...LOL...I love reading and writing poetry. There is something about poetry, something peaceful and soothing, that books don't have...though I read a lot. Poetry is like, well, the music of the soul....so, yes, we are out here...

Of course, not everyone is a Keats or a Coleridge, but
the urge to express one's feelings and thoughts in poetic form is ancient - and will survive and even flourish, I'd say, as long as humankind remains human.

Yeah I love to read poets but not so good at writting them but i stil do. They are so emotional and thoughful. One of the poems I like "song for myself" by Walt Whitman. Its a really good poem also from Emily Dickinson she writes wonderful poems

I am with you amen! I have been reading and writing poetry since i was little. If someone calls you a name and disrespects you, they are probably jealous.
