HA... sorry the fuel filter actually is in the engine bay located on the back side of the passenger... if you were to look in between the battery and your intake manifold you will see the filter, and it can be a world of pain to change.. so dont go pullin out your back seet cause you'll just find your fuel pump inside..

The fuel filter is on top of the gas tank,or inside the tank depending on the model.

I used to have a '96 Eclipse, it's hooked into the gas tank.

On the Passenger side of car just before the back tire.

look under passenger side of the car just forward of the rear tire. It has been a few years since i changed one but i think thats where it is.
