GPA is not as important as class rank.
You should consider, NIU, ISU, UIC, DePaul, Loyola. Depending on class rank, maybe UIUC.

Northwestern could be a reach school for you, but it's worth applying there if you're interested. My HS GPA was a 3.8 but I only got a 27 on my ACT. I didn't get into NU the first time I applied, but they did when I applied a year and a half later to transfer from another school. You could also look at schools like U of I, DePaul, Loyola, and University of Chicago, which would also be a reach school, but is worth a shot. NIU would be a safety school for you, as would EIU.
