You need better flexibility. I'd recommend yoga and pilates.

First get more flexible by stretching. I definitely recommend the splits. Don't force it, but practice for 1 minute 3-4 times a day for a week. Put on some socks and do it in a leotard or any flexible clothing. Take a deep breath and when you exhale, go down a little more. Again, THIS SHOULD NOT BE FORCED! It should be natural. After you master this, work on jumping high. Try a trampoline, or if you or a friend don't have one, you could try a sofa or bed, but BE CAREFUL! As you progress in jumping higher and higher, keep trying to bring your feet up into a midair splits. This can take a while, but it's the best way to do it! Good luck =)

you need to stretch ur muscles. sit in front of ur couch or dresser, spread ur legs as far as u can with out hurting ur self and pull hold onto the couch and hold it. do this for 10 seconds at a time to start and slowly increase the time ur holding for. also remember that when u jump keep ur sholders strait and try not to lower them to meet ur legs. bring ur legs to ur sholders. also if u have access use a trampoline...

streach more do your middle splits more and one way to stretch is to go down in middle splits as far as u can thenput your elbows on the ground and hold it there

another way is to put your feet and legs flat on the wall while the top half of you is on the ground and open your legs to the middle splits and hold it there but when u close your legs slowly close them cuz they will hurt.

and practice

stretch more, also you should have a friend or someone press down on your back while sitting in the split position, but not too hard so you wont break your back or hips:)
