The real problem with destiny is that it takes away free choice. If some being, or group of beings, has the world all planned out there is nothing us miniscule human beings can do to change it. It's our destiny, nothing we do is free choice. And free choice seems to me a necessary thing. A great thing.

In many ways there probably is destiny. We are destined. We are destined by our genes and by our cercumstances. The strands of DNA tell us how we interpret things, who we meet tells us what we will interpret, and the same is true for everyone else. The world could probably be explained in some super gigantic mathmatical formula, bigger than any of us could ever comprehend.

Of course, this too takes away free choice. Which is sad. So I'll just be in denial. There is no destiny. Maybe.

The question is do you know your destiny? I do believe that once you have concieved a thought, the thought is actually reality, just not in a tangeble form. You only have the task of concieving how it is made. If you truly see yourself as a doctor, you will work towards that, evolving even subconsciously, when you become a doctor was that destiny?
If your Answer is yes then destiny is real...
