Does VONAGE (phone company) slows the internet connection?

I have cable connaction and it was great until I installed modem for Vonage. Now I wait for one page to open up to 1 min!!!!!!!
I guess when I call them they're not the ones to tell me the truth. Please help! Thanks

No. Voip takes only limited network traffice to operate.

Sometimes if the phone adaptor sit between your computer and internet modem, it'll limit your speed because the adaptor is not a good router.

i have not had any change in mine. had it for about 6 months now.
