This is a serious question. I really do not think any of the people on television or in the movies really have any talent. Let me explain. ok, maybe 4 or 5 people are good but the rest could be replaced by anybody. And I do mean anybody me you or your neighbor. I cannot think of one actor or actress that have done any work in these mediums in the past ten years that could not be replaced by anybody with one weeks worth of training. How hard could it be. Somebody writes the stuff and they say it. I am not talking about theatre. I have seen a few plays like Le Mis. and was very impressed. In my opinion, all these "stars" are pure fabrications with zero talent. Theatre is different because you must perform flawlessley. Why is Tom Cruise famous? Jennifer Anniston? It absolutley blows my mind. I am not trying to be silly here but would like some feedback. 10 points to the winner- and yes I will make you famous.

I disagree. Meryl Streep's performance as Amanda Priestly in "The Devil Wear's Prada" (2006) is Oscar worthy. Anthony Hopkins is a wonderful actor and was amazing in "The Edge" (1997) and "Hearts In Atlantis" (2001), Nicholas Cage was so great in "Adaptation" (2002) and "Matchstick Men" (2002), Denzel Washington, Ian McKellen, Dakota Fanning, Bill Nighy - I could name at least a dozen more who's work is regularly seen in our neighborhood theaters.
You won't find any of these in the pages of celebrity magazines - they are too busy perfecting their craft and not out partying and trying to get their picture taken.
I think there is more of a problem finding good material that's worthy of these great talents.

I agree, but there are some good actors. I know Johnny Depp is the heart throb right now, but the man can act. From Astronaunts wife, to Secret Window, Even his new ones the Pirates of the Carribean. Now hw may have lost it when he did Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, but we all make mistakes. Also I agree with the other woman Denzil Washington is Great, I love him in everything, My faviorte, "Out of Time"

It relies upon on your definition of morality. Taking faith and God out of the image, there is 3 kinds of 'dazzling'. there is what's dazzling for you, there is what's dazzling for a particular set of human beings, and there is what's dazzling for each guy or woman. The wrongness approximately masturbation may well be because of the fact that is all approximately self-excitement. that throughout and of itself isn't inevitably undesirable or damaging to society yet can carry approximately hedonism which temporarily is performing like an animal with out administration over your desires, in essence performing like an animal somewhat than a man or woman with loose will and selection. because it pertains to faith, faith seeks to dictate habit which may be accompanied as coverage by using all to circumvent such issues and somewhat sell what's terrific or healthiest for all.

I agree with you to some point. There are more than 5 actors who are worth what they have reached but honestly, I too find that actors such as Marlon Brando, Sean Connery, Vivien Leigh, Jane Fonda etc. are not to be found ever again...

Perhaps you are watching the wrong kinds of films. I recently watched the Sea Is Watching and thought it was superb. Not all films have to be made in America to be any good. I think Asian films have the edge. Original ideas, good plot, dood direction. It's amazing what can be done without the aid of special effects.
