I think it is more of a question of should people stop using taco bell

Taco Bell has stopped serving green onions, but not altogether. The Health Department and FDA are diligently working to resolve the problem and green onions will become available in stores again once it has been deemed safe to do so.
Taco Bell is dedicated to serve safe product to its customers, and have complied with the Health Department in every way.

Produce is washed after picking at the packing plant.
It should also be washed at the point of use (at Taco Bell).
If they're taking the green onions straight out of the box and serving them to customers, they've neglected their duty to serve food in a sanitary manner and deserve the bad publicity and whatever lawsuits arise.

Perhaps for now to prevent the spread of e-coli. The last time this happened a few years ago, they let you add white onions to the products that should have the green ones. It was a nice compromise.

No. I love green onions. Why should they stop? You think chicken should stop being available as food? Since it is so diseased.

green onions make the taco salad look pretty so I think they should use them.

I think that if it is proven that the green onions are killing people then yes I would say they should stop using them!!!!!!

No, why would they. If you don't like them, just ask for your food without green onions.
