Exercise always produces body heat, but I guess you cant always do that. There are heat patches (like Therma Care patches)you can buy at the store (grocery store/local pharmacy) that you stick directly on your body and also sporting good stores always carry those hand and feet warmers. I cant really tell you how to produce heat except for keeping your body active. But for keeping warm use heating patches/pads and also theres the organic heating pads with the little bead type things in them that you stick in the microwave...they stay heated for about 2 or 3 hours depending what kind you buy. Good luck staying warm! *Oh,also outdoor/army surplus stores carry those thin blankets that keep the heat trapped in. Theyre great for camping and any other time youre cold and want to stay warm.

Cell metabolism and muscle contraction. The hypothalimus regulates the body's temperature by constricting the blood vessels near the surface of the skin when you are cold and causing you to sweat when you are hot.

Cellular activity. Calories are consumed by you, and burned by your body. The heat from the consumption of calories is released as entropy.
