I am wondering if a parent who is only allowed supervised visits can go to a child's school and watch them play sports or go to other functions at which a child is involved?

The other parent has been found to hae an addiction that they are to get help for before they can attempt unsopervised visits. The children don't want to see this person at all, anyway, and would be very upset if they saw them at an event. Can the parent show up at these things? Who would be best to discuss this with?

I dont see why not. just aslong as the school is aware that the parent can not be left alone with the child. Most schools may want some sort of documentation.

i do not comprehend who informed you that sexual abuse determines orientation, even though it truly is bullshi(p). Abused toddlers are more advantageous probably to become abusers because toddlers learn from social gathering, and on the grounds that too many abused toddlers don't have the intelligence or emotional information to discover options. some -- somewhat those mistreated previously the age of four -- are so damaged they actually can not be helped. even as abuse is mixed with low-income situations, the abused youngster ought to correctly be pregnant with techniques from rape previously she's halfway with the help of extreme college, with little or no wish of ever with the ability to climb out of the situations--she only recreates the issue she grew up in. some toddlers act out violently (more advantageous typically boys, yet not continuously) and land up in penal complicated, frequently the start of the properly for the wish of being a good determine. although... the perfect mom I ever knew--a woman who raised 5 of her personal toddlers and loved any emotionally needy youngster her personal brood delivered residing house (she replaced into even my 'followed' mom, even as i replaced into in my 20's and 30's) ... replaced into bodily and sexually abused as a toddler with techniques from her father and uncle. She replaced into married youthful and had 4 toddlers, and her husband died at 40, leaving her widowed with a three-month-previous toddler. On paper, that replaced right into a recipe for tragedy, accurate? yet she chosen to regulate. a good guy she had elementary previously married her a 365 days later, and they created a good, supportive kinfolk--blue-collar, yet with college objectives for his or her toddlers. She raised her toddlers utilising 'do unto others' as her education--she dealt with them the way she ought to have loved to were dealt with. 2 of her toddlers grew as a lot as be instructors, one replaced right into a musician, one a chef, one a museum curator. one in each and every of her sons is a healing foster determine who, including his spouse, has helped a dozen or more advantageous undesirable toddlers and followed 3 of them. one in each and every of those followed toddlers is now a vet tech, treating animals more advantageous suited than her personal mom dealt with her and her siblings. statistics chart the kinds, yet human beings can replace kinds.
