I understand girl. Most of us were taught at a very young age that we were princesses and beautiful. Our entire culture is based on a fairy-tale life. We are given crowns, dresses, high heeled shoes and told we are small queens in the making. We are even given movies to watch about princesses that wait in towers for their knight in shining armor to arrive. Have you ever noticed that the man always shows up while the princess is still very young, in these movies. Our up-bringings tell us we are leaders just because we are females. It also tells us that all we have to do is wait for the perfect man to come riding into our lives. All of this is bull-sh**. What we have to do as women is to re-train ourselves to the realistic view-point of life. Don't wait for a man to "save" you. Go out and get an education. Once you graduate, men will fall into place. Remember, you are beautiful. We all just have to work at it to prove it to everyone else. But, what is most important girl is that you feel good with who you are inside.
Good luck, I hoped this helped a-little.

When you are younger, you have fantasies. Like, when I was younger, I actually believed the same thing as you do. Now that you are older and you are not a princess, get over it. It's not the end of the world. I don;t know why anyone would want to be a princess. Princess Diana felt like she was in prison and you have no privacy!!!

What makes you say you're not a princess? Okay, so maybe you're not the princess you thought you'd be (glass slippers etc.) but who says you aren't beautiful and special and worth as much if not more than any other princess out there?
Treat yourself well, respect your body, mind, and soul and you'll be a princess in your own kingdom, guaranteed!

Your Imperial Highness, I am sorry, were you sleeping? Time to wake up and get dressed for the ball, my dear. The most incredible Prince has just arrived for the weekend and I know he wants to dance with you. Shall I draw your bath while you sip some champagne?

Ah, delusions of grandeur.
Reality has a rude way of intruding, doesn't it?
If you must be a princess, make a royal diadem out of tin foil and continue to pretend.
Be sure to stay on your medication.

"how do i cope"? do you have, like, issues?! most people can cope without being treated better than everyone else. even if our cultural values teach us we are. i think it's an immediate gratification thing. kids feel much happier at the time, being told they are special and unique and will be famous somdeay, whatever. but later we get upset when life doesn't match our expectations.

just forget about what you were promised and move on and mature and find a good man who will make you feel like one, but in fact you will never be one so if you want to believe in it desperately pretend your one.

You'll live. We've all been there. Just be a princess in your own mind, and your wish will come true!

1) because you're a woman
2) sucker a rich man into treating you like one by fulfilling any sexual desire that he needs.
