Am I crazy? Am I the only one who, since the advent of the internet, people have started saying, "I was waiting on line" instead of "I was waiting in line". Hello??????

I think that's regional, and has been for a long time before the internet. I read it in a book for the first time in the '70's.

You wait inline at a grocery store.
You wait online on the net via, satellite signals. How do wait inline on a wire or signal?
There's an obvious variance on the differences of the two and if you can't use common sense. Well, then your gonna be left behind.
