Thank you for your feed back. My doctor did tell me there is a 50/50 chance. This would be my first baby and i am so concerned. I went to booth to get a u/s done a interal and a regular one done. But the doctor or tech that looked over my results said that i should get another one done in a week and to get my hcg beta tested which that is 6938.3 and it has doubled since the last time. But i guess my question is how does my levels keep going up but they tell me they don't hear a heart beat. I go to get mt other u/s done on monday i guess i am just a little up tight. Thank you for all your answers in advance.

How do you know there was no heart beat? Was it by ultra sound or Doppler? If it was Doppler I wouldn't worry as most of the time a minimum of 8 weeks before you can hear the heart.
I would guess that your doctor would have told you if there was something wrong with your baby. No doctor would allow to go on believing that you are pregnant if you no longer are.

I feel the same way as you. Everytime before I go in for a prenatal check up i get so nervous that the DR might give me bad news. And it's normal not to have the symptoms. It doesn't mean it's a sign of a miscarriage or a missed miscarriage. Just like how people feel they have the symptoms of some kind of disease and it turns out to be nothing. It's just your mind playing tricks on you. Don't worry too much you'll stress the baby out. and that is not good. Enjoy the pregnancy and just live one day at a time.

If there was no heartbeat at the sonogram, then yes you miscarried. If it was just with a doppler then I wouldn't worry because they do not usually pick the hearbeat up this early. I heard the heartbeat at 7 weeks during the sonogram, but not until 11 weeks with the doctors doppler. Your doctor should have explained all this to you.

It is normal not to here it does not mean you misscared, my doc told me the other day i am 7 weeks and ask her to hear the heart beat but she said that i would not be able to until 10 or 12 weeks in, so you are ok you just have to wait

my dr didnt check the heartbeat until 10 weeks. Im guessing your dr would have told you weather to worry or not. Did your dr schedule an ultrasound to see? If it was on a sonogram i dont think thats a good sign. But i would listen to whatever advice your dr gave.

When we were pregnant with our son, we didn't hear a heartbeat until 8 weeks. With our very first pregnancy which we miscarried we never heard a heartbeat and we were ten weeks along. It was a blithed ovum.

I didn't hear my heartbeat until about 12 weeks. Although I wasn't as far along as they thought in the first place.

I had to wait till I was 10weeks along to hear my sons heartbeat. So don't get you hopes down till you find out for sure. Also don't set them high. Just look at it Gods Plan. Good luck!

sometimes the technician just can't find it. I wouldn't worry too much unless your doctor seems concerned. 7 weeks is still very early.
