The oil company's have a lot to lose if we do not install the perfect puppets in the Iraq government. That is the main reason why GW insists on staying..the rest of his statements are all lies.
Iraq from beginning to end has been nothing but lies.

The ISG report is a plan for failure and surrender. Of the members who put this document together, only Charles Robb has any military experience. It's clear to me that using the report would be a mistake. Rather than concentrate our efforts on insuring America lose, it might be prudent to focus our efforts on changing strategic actions in Iraq to insure we win. And a win is possible.

Some of us seem more interested in making certain President Bush is depicted as a complete failure than thinking clearly about what our next step will be in making sure we do not fail as a nation. As far as appearing HOSTILE...I suggest a long look in the mirror is needed for some of us here.

" In the sharpest criticism yet, Republican Senator John McCain told Jim Baker and Lee Hamilton their report for Iraq reminds him of the last war the U.S. lost: Vietnam.

McCAIN: And I believe that this is a recipe that will lead to, sooner or later, our defeat in Iraq."

The fundamental difference between Iraq and VietNam is that the NVA did not have millions of their faithful religious minions embedded on US soil, teaching a doctrine of hate for all non-believers.

Continue ignoring the immediate threat from both outside our borders as well as inside in favor of continued blind hate for one man. Continue blinding yourself to the possibilities of what very well might happen IF we appear weak in the eyes of radical Islamic groups. All in the name of hate for one man.

Why does he reject the ISG report? Because it is a guarantee of a loss. Why would anyone embrace a guarantee of a loss? The man is insisting on winning this war and it sickens me to see "patriotic" Americans falling in line to assure failure all so they can have their personal pleasure of seeing the President deemed a failure.

I did not agree with moving into Iraq, but WE ARE THERE. Deal with it the best way possible to win this satisfactorily.

The White House is being "hostile" because they don't want any criticism at all. But they are happy that Daddy Bush's friends have given the go ahead to stay the course for oil.

Don't let the press fool you. They are on Bush's side as well.

The longer the US stays in Iraq, the more Iraqis will flee into refugee camps in the surrounding counties and the bigger chance the troops will build the path to the oilfields that Bush and the Iraq Study group want.

Because you have no idea what you are talking about. The Iraq report is nothing but a group of unqualified civilians offering useless advice to fix a military problem politically.

Do you really think Bush is making the decisions. He might be mouthing and executing them, but he's being run by a group with other interests like oil and world dominance.

Giving the people of Iraq is not a failure, unless you are a liberal human rights activist that doesn't admit to the truth that the people of Iraq are free now.

He's placed all his bets on winning in Iraq, and can't face the reality of death and destruction he's helped to create.
