I had my oldest daughter at 34 weeks via emergency cesarian. It's 18 months later and I'm 34 weeks with my second daughter....Am I prone going into preterm labor since I delivered early and never went through active labor, let alone braxton-hicks with the first pregnancy?

If you had 3 or 4 children all preterm I would say that you are "prone", but once does not make the rule. I would say that you and your doctor should have talked about this by know. If not make sure you do so at your next appointment. If you have had a normal and healthy pregnancy there is really no reason for you to go into preterm labour again. Last time it might have just been a fluke.
Also just because you never felt any braxton-hicks contractions doesn't mean you didn't have any. During my 16 weeks ultra sound I was having contractions that we could watch on the screen.

It could happen again, but unlikely unless there is a medical reason. Some never have active labor like some c-sections. Just stay hydrated and take care of yourself. Braxton hicks are the practice for your uterus, like going to the gym to become stronger for the"big job" sometimes they can hurt but it is normal and your body knows what to do a bit better having done this before. Good Luck

Unfortunatly there isn't so much you'll be able to do in case your youngster is equipped he's equipped, however you must preserve good hydrated eight-10 glasses of fluid in line with day, restrict pastime, and restrict intercourse on account that sperm can reason inflammation to the cervix which will dilate it. well good fortune
