I focus on the positive uplifting things that I have seen them do,we have a person that always has a bad attitude towards us,my fiances step-mother and she was in the pschology field, and even though I think she needs help bad and I am not alone, there Is a long line,I try to turn her negative belittleing statments to a possitive statement about her like how she overcame her alcohol problems, this turns the table to a positive rather then a negitive and uplifts all around her

We have two ways to look at something. We can either see what we are lacking in life, or we can see what we already have. I was actually talking to someone earlier about this. Rather than sitting and complaining and worrying about what we don't have, we have a choice to look at the things that we do have.

Right now, my car doesn't run, but I have an awesome boss that is little me borrow his car. I can look at the fact that I have no boyfriend, or I can be thankful that I have great parents and friends. It depends on what you look at and what you choose to focus on. Also, decide now what truly makes you happy. Focus on those things rather than the things you don't have.
