It is the day we in Christiandom celebrate Jesus' birthday. Otherwise gift giving, good food, good drink, friends and family round here. It is a day for me to be more thankful for all the good life gives than any other of the year.

Christmas Day is very special as it means the birth of our Saviour Jesus Christ that is often overlooked as the cause for all the celebrations - I love to etierh read the Bible or watch a DVD that depicts this great event. It's a time of getting together with family and loved ones, and there seems to be more love around -shame it doesn't last throughout the year. Dislike the excessive commercialism of it all. Happy Christmas.

Must say I'm a stereotypical kind of person.... when it comes to Christmas!
What Christmas day means to me is a bunch of family getting together and playing charades or pass the parcel.
Having a laugh, Enjoying yourself. And just everyone being together.
And forgetting any fights or disagreements and just enjoy the day/moment

As a Christian, Christmas - unfortunately - is a dreaded holiday. The story of Christ's birth is lost in the celebration of commerce. Those who truly wish to secularize the holiday tout things like "peace on earth" and "goodwill" rubbish. If we cared for peace, we'd work for it - not talk about it. Even the beloved Santa Claus has become a symbol for excess.

Getting together with family. try to forget about any worries i might have. Get drunk. I'm not religious. So why do i celebrate Christmas? Well I spose that is the point you are trying to make.
Merry Christmas!

I find it a bit much, to be honest with you! I've got 8 of us for lunch and it'll be happy smiling for hours and hours, while I'm wishing I could go to a dark room on my own and be quiet.
