I go very natural with brown eye shadow and eyeliner, light blush and a great lipcolor. I always have a red of some sort in my purse at all times, b/c even on the days when I don't wear any other makeup, I throw on some red lipstick to look alive rather than dead! It is a great trick!

It all depends what I feel like on any given day.

Some days I'll feel like going Hollywood, so I straighten my naturally curly hair into a Cleopatra-like look, then do the real Egyptian makeup. With it I will pair a diaphanous white blouse, with chunky gold jewellery, and black leather pants with black spike heels. The girls at work call this my "ga-ga" costume, because the guys go ga-ga when they see it.

Other days I just feel kind of girl-next-door, so I'll wear my washed out levis with a white lace blouse and red shorty cardigan, with my red suede slouchy boots. And I'll leave my curls in their natural state, and put on "natural" looking make-up.

Then for my grown up sophisticated look, I have a whole slew of dresses. Some sweater dresses that skim my body down to my knee, which I pair with different wide belts. Or my slinky black stretch velvet dress that has a flare skirt almost large enough to stand straight out from my body if I should twirl in a circle. With these I wear 10 denier stockings in a variety of colours with 2 to 3 inch heels. And my makeup will be a heavier evening look, but still not as heavy as my Egyptian mode. And for my hair, I usually enhance the curls, making them look wild.

i think if you like that look than go for it. who cares what other people think about it. cuz honestly if we keep worrying what everyone thinks of us than we will never get anywhere in life cuz were to stuck on trying to fix ourselfs to where other people accept us. if you accept yourself than forget the others who are to insecure with themselves and like to put down other people to feel good about themselves~~me personally i go with a puple eyeshadow, dark mascara and eyeliner only on the top to make my blue eyes look stunning cuz bold bold colors dont work well for me but if they do for you thats cool
