If you search for bowtie christmas party games on google or yahoo you should get to a bowtieproducts site that will give you 4 new original games that will help make your nite fun.

For parties like this they work because they give folks something to do while they get warmed up to each other. if they want to talk, they can talk, but if conversation lags games like these take up the awkward silences that many of us dread.

Several of these games have people start singing the songs to get to the answers and that is always a good thing.

Whats nice is that people don't all have to be in it to enjoy it. Some can just help out if asked or enjoy the groaning at the answers.

If links work in the answer blocks here's the link

there is also some party giving advice you may enjoy.

My wife and I made up the puzzles and many people really enjoy them.

I hope they work out well for you

We play the dice game. Everyone brings and age appropriate gift, (adults for adults and children for children.) and we set an amount, (around $10). You set an amount of time, around 15-20 minutes or until everyone gets a gift. Then you start rolling two dice. Evertime someone rolls a double they get to pick a gift from the middle or a "steal" one from another person. The gifts stay wrapped until your all finished. Once everyone has a gift you can stop and open them or you can do another round that's only 5 or 10 min. and people can "steal" gifts. We always have a blast playing it.

Instead of Pin the Tail on the Donkey, use a Reindeer instead of the donkey. Christmas themed sherades or have a treasure hunt for Christmas things. A lipsinc contsest to Christmas songs would be kind of fun, just use your Christmas cd's you have at home! You can be creative and turn some games people play at Birthday parties and turn them into a Christmas activity/theme.

everyone in my family brings a gift specific to their gender or age group (men for men, women for women, kids for kids) we divide into groups men women kids and someone reads The Night Before Christmas every time the word THE is said we pass the gifts and at the end everyone winds up with a gift. We have also done it with numbers every one gets a number and when your number is pulled from a hat you get to choose a gift, if you want something that someone has already unwrapped you have that option too and then the person you took from gets to choose a new gift.
