How far can you simplify 32^2/3 (the exponent is 2/3

it is cube root of 32^2
=cube root of 1024
8 times the cube root of 2

32 ^ (2/3) = (2^5) ^ (2/3)= 2 ^ (10/3)

The Above answers are incomplete and incorrect. "maussy" almost got it right except that he said that 5 x 2/3 = 5/3, while the correct answer is 10/3. I check my answer with a calculator so no worries. you can check it if you want.

and you know (x^y) ^z =x^yz

32^2/3 = (2^5)^2/3 = 2^(5/3)
