I asked a similar ? a few weeks ago but I still haven't found a good idea. 4 of my friends and I have to make gifts this year and they have to be under $10. Any ideas besides the classic scarf, scrapbook, bracelet idea (ive already done all of those for them).

Anything would be helpful thanks!

Baked goods, everyone loves homemade goodies.

Another suggestion would be to get some canning jars, and place all the ingredients for a recipe inside the canning jar. With the directions attached tied with a pretty ribbon on the outside of the jar.

I provided you a link to a site that offers recipes for you to do just that. I did this one year and it was a big hit.

Good luck, and Merry Christmas

I say no to Starbucks gift cards - $5.00 a coffee??? Waste of money. How about a nice picture frame at the Dollar Store? Find (or take) a picture of the birthday person from a digital camera, develop it for 30 cents. Then buy some cookies or pastries from your local grocery store bakery ($4), and a bag of flavored coffee ($5). If they do not drink coffee, hot chocolate will work. Less that $10! Make sure you wrap it up nicely.

To add onto the frame idea, you can buy plain wooden frames and decorate them however you choose. My son made me one in which he tore up tissue paper and glued it on and then you paint on another coat of glue they look really pretty very glossy

Michael's arts and crafts sells square unfinished wood frames with broad surfaces for $1, and craft paints for 50 cents each. you can paint and decorate them yourself.
