unishment? I got my license a little less than a month ago and I am 16 years old. I live in California.

My cousin got his license in california, and he told me that he couldnt drive me or else he could lose his license. I also heard this from some of his friends.

Drivers license or a privilege, not something to take for granted. I would certainly not make the laws. Drivers license is something you will need probably for the rest of your life, so do not start so young to start breaking the law. They can be revoked. Be smart, protect your license. Check with license division in your area, see what restrictions that you have, honor them, this protects yourself.

You may lose your learner's permit, and you wouldn't be able to get a senior license till you were 18. Its not worth "doing the crime and paying them time" Behave, it will come soon enough!

they may take your drivers permit from you and make you re apply for it. mayber a fine too.
