Truthiness was just named word of the year, it can be defined by its creator as "truth that comes from the gut, not books." I like it, what do you think.

Truthiness is a fantastic word. People have been misuing "truth" for a long time -- it's great to have a more accurate term to articulate what's been going on in the media and its culture of spin.

I don't care for it. Personally, I think the English language has enough words already to express our thoughts concisely and beautifully. The newly coined words seem forced and unnecessary to me.

Truthiness is next to Awfulness!
