A promise to me is a sacred thing. I have to know for absolutely sure, before I make one. If a promise I make is broken, you can bet, that something beyond my control has happened.

I try not too. If I am not sure if I can do something, it is better not to promise at all. Especially to my kids, I never break a promise to them.

Not all the time. i try not to. But if u do, it's only human. but some promises u really should not break. Like if ur dad (or mom, for me dad) says he would call u, or take u out shopping, he really should keep it cuz if he dont, he just hurting a kid, and making them more troubled. sad but true.

well I'm very careful when I make a promise but when abosolulty necesary I do sometimes break them.

I will not lie to a stranger yes I do sometimes if the circumstances need me to. I usually do not for any petty reasons but if I really have to then you gotta do what you gotta do!
