I didn't ask to be educated about a BULLSHIT holiday, I asked if ANYONE ELSE realizes that it's a made-up holiday. When you explain it word for word, it makes me realize EVEN MORE that it's BULLSHIT, rofl. BUT, does it make you feel special?

We celebrate FESTIVUS in our home, rofl--Any Seinfeld fans here to get that little jewel of humor? Real Africans would look at these people that celebrate Kwanzaa like they had two heads. If REAL Africans don't acknowledge it, then why would "African-Americans" want to appear so ignorant to the rest of the world.--Wait, I think I just answered my own awesome question.......

i'm ill of stressful approximately offending somebody with Merry Christmas or in spite of. So I went lower back to the pagan roots and started announcing "Have a clean Solstice" by using fact the iciness solstice is Dec 21. I determine its close adequate and if i flow to offend one group of individuals, i could as properly attempt to offend each and every physique. Oh, and to those that are going to be Hatriots and say "we live IN united statesa. AND WE have fun CHRISTMAS HURRRRR!!!!" Jewish people are American too, does that advise they could desire to have fun Christmas?

Kwanzaa (Quansa) is a holiday celebrated by many African-Americans. It is held December 26th through January 1st. It was started in 1966 by Doctor Maulana Karenga, Professor at the California State University, Long Beach, California

Seven Principles of Kwanzaa
(There is one principle for each
of the seven days of Kwanzaa in the following order.)
Umoja (unity) to strive for and maintain unity in the family, community, nation and race.

Kujichagulia (self-determination) to define ourselves, name ourselves, create for ourselves and speak for ourselves.

Ujima (collective work and responsibility) to build and maintain our community together and make our sister's and brother's problems our problems and to solve them together.

Ujamaa (cooperative economics) to build and maintain our own stores, shops, and other businesses together.

Nia (purpose) to make our collective vocation the building of our community to restore our people to their traditional greatness.

Kuumba (creativity) to do as much as we can to leave our community more beautiful and beneficial than we inherited it.

Imani (faith) to believe with our hearts in our people, our parents, our teachers, our leaders and the righteousness and victory of our struggle.

It's made-up, but it's not bullshit. Valentine's Day and St Patrick's day are made-up too.
