Absolutely nothing. Technicially, and iPod is an mp3 player. It doesn't make a difference if Aplle makes it of Phillips. They both play mp3 files.

the difference is that mp3 players are like a little cd player and you can listen and download music on to it and an ipod just downloads music

About $90 dollars. lol personally i think iPods are crap. ive got through 4 of them different kinds they all malfunction...my friend has gone through 10 of them and returns them everytime they break...the only iPod i recommend is the iPod Shuffle (old one not the new one) its the only 'Pod that hasnt crap'd out on me.
