I am a f.Yr student of B.com(hons). I am very concerned about my master degree which i have planned to do in computer application(I.T.).So i started to collect loads of information about it.To get benefitted in the M.C.A program i entered into a 2 yrs diploma course in software technology which i am about to finish within 6 months.Everyday to collect information about the M.C.A entrance exam i surf the internet for 3 to 4 hrs,visit any place where i can get slightest information about the M.C.A program.Even i spend plenty of time studying for the software technology course but these stuffs created a gap within me and the preparation for the final yr B.Com(hons).I am seriously neglecting my B.COM but at the same time i have to collect informations so that i dont have to waste any time after my graduation in collecting informations when i should seriously prepare 4 my M.C.A entrance.
Please send me solutions how can i overcome this problem

I have done MCA.. my graduation is in B.COm.. now its 3 years that i m in IT insudtry...
But complete one work at a time...
You siad you have collected lots of info.. i think.. these info is enough now... first complete ur graduation. u shd get above 55% in b.com to get admission in MCA.. that is one of the rule. second u have to have maths till 12th std to take admission for MCA.
After the graduation exam, then from the very next day concentrate on ur MCA entrance test...
in my class.. i had taken one year gap after graduation to datudy for the MCA entrance test as i didn't have any knowlege of computer except MSoffice.
May of the studnet in my MCA class , had taken one year gap for the MCA entrance to get good score..
mean while i worked as a clerk in a small pvt co,. in the evening i used to study for the entrance test...
so u can opt for this option also.. coz just passing will not do for MCA... u have get very very good score.. .e.g. about 90% in these entrance test... coz if u have good %, then u can go for good college.. and good college mean good campus... so fist complete B com... and then only concetrate on ur MCA..

Prepare for your MCA entrance exam after your B.Com course.
Don't neglect the B.Com course, because some colleges may consider B.Com marks also if there is tie between two persons if both got same mark in entrance exam. And moreover, it will take around 2 complete months for your entrance exam. Prepare for Quantitative Aptitude. And about the basic computer terminalogies. All the Best!!!

Take one step at a time. MCA entrence exams not so tough. Prepare well fo B.Com. If you score well that will not only help you in your carrier but also gives you confidence.
There is no problem even if you skip one year and join next year to MCA. You can learn some applications may work for an year. One of my friend worked for two years and came to US after his B.COM. Then He did his M.S in Comp Science while working.
In US Lot of people go Master or MBA only after three to four years of working. Work gives you perspective needed to learn the stuff. In India we miss that kind of culture.
