With girls of 2-4 you can never go wrong with teddy bears they love them! Especially big soft plushy ones!!!! Teddy bears are a classic and they will enjoy them for a long time and teddy bears can be like a security blanket something to comfort them as well as fun for playing with they stir a child's imagination..I highly recommend them for any child.

something girly (Barbie, or Bratz. more or less though, for about 6-7 and +)
or
something MUSICAL. almost any child, boy or girl, will sit down with a musical little kid instrument or toy and play for hours. (A.K.A.= anything that makes sound increases the fun rate; especially when they cant priduce the sound by them selves!! --buttons,ect.)
or
if u wanna stay 'round budget, then u can't go wrong with the classics; a teddy bear. or if u have a million of those already, then buy a new stuffed animal; something like perhaps a puppy, cat, OH! Buil-A-Bear Workshop if the ULTIMATE place to take a kid, especially a girl 'round that age!! that would be ur best option,, in my opinion.

Dress up clothes. You can get sets cheap at Target, BJ's, Costco. You can't go wrong with dress up for a 2-4 year old little girl. I have a 2 year old and a 3 year old, and it's all they play all day long!

new born cabbageatch dolls re really a good gift for that age group. the arent that expensive either. toys r su and meijers are usually a good place to get hem and target usually carries them to. just acall ahead and find out who is carrying them. merry christmas.

You should buy a small electronic piano. Kids love that stuff! I would know because my brother's about that age.

Sit and spin my daughter had one but her friends always wanted to fight over it so i have 2 now and they ALWAYS GET PLAYED WITH and yes they are called sit and spin you can get them at walmart kmart target any major chain store
