first one
one year for Christmas I had gotten army men it was a ok gift but for two things. one I wasn't a kid. two the people that gave it two me didn't believe that guns where ok. so they cut the guns off. it was a really bad gift.
2. form the worest gift to the best gift. ever time my grandma would ask me what I needed I would tell her I need some sanity or you can get me some sanity. one day my grandpa got tired of that. so he picks up the phone And tells me he's getting me some sanity. I was existed and nervous. and the next day he came with a bunch of groceries. out of one bag he handed me an actual box of sanity. he had taken a actual box of cereal and turned it into sanity the cereal. it had funny stuff all over it.

Lol, the army men gift is hilarious! If you don't like guns and violence, then why would you give someone army men at all? Let alone chop off thier guns! Lol

I would have left the guns on. Wars are an ugly reality of life. They will be around when we all die. They didn't realize that you were an adult? Some people collect things. Many adult men collect army figures to set up famous battles. Maybe if you have others that is what they thought.
From the worst gift to the best? Maybe you didn't realize it, but they perhaps didn't have much money to waste on unwanted gifts.
The sanity cereal. It sounds like he went to a lot of trouble. And you did keep asking.
Happy Holidays and be grateful that they think of you at all.
Yours would be a reason why Grandparents would like to avoid giving anything to ungrateful grand children.

your grandpa's give has a lot of thought in it, since he cann't give the real thing 2 u, he might as well make something fun out of it. but i don't think calling u first is a good idea. 4 he is going 2 disapoint u, why get ur hope so high just 2 bring u down?
the 1st give is sick. if they can only come out with army men as a gift, its still ok. but to make a ok gift it to a damage pieces of junk, what is up with that?

your grandpa sounds cool. Try making one wish list and pass it out to everyone. My grandma did this, and she does every year with her Christmas card she encloses a list of what she wants, and we all call each other to see what each of us got her. She usually gets everything on her list. It is also a good way to see who actually listens to you so next year you will know whether to get them a good gift or a crappy one like they got you. well. the second one is better then the first. At least your grandfather was creative.
But the first..that is the equivelent of giving a girl a barbie doll and chopping of the hair because you dont want the doll to be sexy!

i think the sanity cereal was cute. ^_^ and if you think your gifts are bad... i got tampons for my 17th birthday. i'm not really sure why. on the upside they were a useful gift eventually.

Gift one, I would have tossed in the trash while they watched and told them next time don't waste my time.
